Welcome to the Supported Volunteering Project

1 in 4 of us will have some kind of mental health issue during the course of a year. To feel better we may need to an activity which helps restore our confidence and makes us feel valued. Sometimes that comes through helping others.

Volunteering can provide opportunities for us to try new things, feel useful, make friends, learn new skills and make a difference to others.

We can help you -

identify your strengths that you can develop through volunteering.find volunteering opportunities.look at your support needs - discuss these with you and with your volunteering placement.regular follow ups to see how things are going.help resolve any problems.
